Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Fan Edition - What To Expect !

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 – and particularly the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra – are spectacular phones, but they’re also over priced, which is where a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Fan Edition could come in.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Fan Edition i s a phone that would go along with the footsteps of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition and the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, and would necessarily be a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Lite in all but name.

Right now we don’t know needless to say that any such phone exists, but there’s space in Samsung’s line-up for it, and therefore the company has even accidentally mentioned the phone on one of its websites, so it's going to rather be real.

Below you’ll find everything that we’ve heard thus far about the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Fan Edition (or Galaxy S20 FE because it could be called), along side our hopes for what it will offer.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Fan Edition-  LAUNCH DATE & PRICING

It’s worth noting that we don’t know needless to say that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Fan Edition will launch in the least. On one of its websites, while Samsung name-checked the phone, it was in the small print of a page about the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition, so it could simply be a typo.

If it is coming though, then it might do so soon. It would necessarily be the next-in-line to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite, and that phone landed in January 2020, so the Note 20 Fan Edition might land in January of 2021 as of now.

Even we are running out of ideas of what it'll cost, but take it it'll undercut the $999 / £849 / AU$1,199 starting price of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite costs remarkably less than that, with a launch price of £529 (roughly $675/AU$935), so it’s likely that the Galaxy Note 20 Fan Edition will be in line with that.

Leaks and rumors

So far the only leak comes from Samsung itself. Their mention was in the fine print of a page about the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition, raising the distinct possibility that it was just a typo – especially as the offending text (which you'll see below) now mentions the S20 FE instead, but it appeared twice on the page, so it’s certainly possible that it’s a true phone that was mistakenly mentioned.

Beyond the possible existence of the handset, the mention claimed that it has a 6.5-inch screen as an entire rectangle, but a 6.3-inch one when accounting for the rounded corners.

That’s basically an equivalent because the S20 FE (adding more support to the present being a typo – especially because the listed sizes have remained even now the phone name on the site has been changed to the S20 FE), but it’s notably at odds with Samsung’s US page for the Galaxy S20 FE, which lists the rounded corner screen size as being 6.4 inches.

As we expect Night Mode Photography as a feature, it was mentioned to be in relation with Samsung Galaxy Note 20 FE.

What we want to see !!!

While we much less about the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Fan Edition yet, we do have some wishes for it.

1. 5G support

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite is not 5G compatible, but with a rising number of reasonably affordable 5G handsets arriving – such as the OnePlus Nord and Pixel 4a 5G – there’s no reason for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Fan Edition not to support it.

So we hope Samsung to bring 5G feature in, and it likely will, specially as the standard Note 20 (at least some versions of it) and even some Galaxy A-series phones include 5G.

2. A 90Hz or 120Hz Refresh Rate

This might be a bare possibility as the standard Samsung Galaxy Note 20 only has a 60Hz refresh rate. But most Samsung flagships are at 120Hz and a lot of other phones also have refresh rates of 90Hz or higher, including a number of mid-range ones.

So we'd love it if Samsung starts making this a new standard feature at mid range section and above, and with the Note 20 Fan Edition being a newer phone than the Note 20. We will have to wait to see if it could have some improved tech.

3. A High-End Chipset

One of our main criticisms of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite was that it had a slightly dated chipset. Sure, it had been also low-priced than its siblings, but companies like Apple and OnePlus have shown that a phone doesn’t got to be top of the range to possess a top of the range chipset.

In order to be proven impressive Samsung should be able to match Note 20 with Exynos 990 or Snapdragon 865+ chipset. We’d even settle for a standard Snapdragon 865.

4. A Bigger Screen than the Note 20

One of the key selling points of the Galaxy Note range may be a big screen to form the foremost of its included S Pen stylus, so we would like here with the Note 20 FE , Samsung to really go all out .

The standard Note 20 features a 6.64-inch screen, which may be a reasonable size, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra ups that to 6.9 inches, so we’d wish to see the company cuut the difference here and put forward a 6.7 or 6.8-inch screen. We’ve seen many big screens on affordable phones, in order that needn’t push the worth up.

5. A Mid-Range Price

For all the specs and features we wish for, we also want the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 FE to be a relatively cheaper.

With its plastic back and FHD+ screen the quality Samsung Galaxy Note 20 could more or less be seen as a ‘lite’ or FE model itself – except it’s entirely too.

Samsung GalWhy Samsung is About to Take Over !!!axy Note 20 with plastic back and  FULL HD PLUS screen Why Samsung is About to Take Over !!!could more or less be seen as a ‘lite’ or FE model itself – besides it’s quiet expensive for that. If the pricing for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 FE could be around some $500 rather than $1000 then it certainly would to be a real fan pleaser.
